Simplification and downgrade: we designed the Escalante 4 shoes inspired by the popular model Escalante 1.5. They feature a unique FootShape fit, greater flexibility, and a lighter weight. Tackle fast training runs, daily walks, or everyday races with this streamlined and versatile high-performance model. It comes with a technical mesh upper that provides a sock-like fit and a knitted tongue, just like the original Escalante model. We improved the rubber midsole to make it lighter and more flexible so you feel more connected to the road. The new footbed, with the same Altra EGO™ foam midsole offering superior responsiveness and comfort, feels more like the iconic Escalante 1.5 and 2.0 models. Move as you wish with a spacious shoe toe box providing ample room for your toes to move freely and a zero drop. How did we infuse so much comfort and style into such simple shoes?
